How To Put YOUR Link On Other People’s YouTube Videos

Every now and then I come across something really cool and useful – so I thought I would share it with you.

YouTube logoI have found a site that allows you to embed a link into a YouTube video – this can be either one of your own videos, or even someone else’s video!

Now I am pretty hopeless when it comes to video. I can shoot video on my mobile phone and upload it to YouTube, but that is about it. I’ve got no idea how to edit videos and add a URL watermark or anything like that. However this linking method is really easy and the link is clickable, unlike a watermark in a video.

Here is an example:

Ignore the fact that the video has nothing to do with autoblogging, but note the clickable button titled “AutoBlog” and the text that pops up when you mouse-over the button. The button can link to any URL you like, such as a page on one of your websites, a product in a shopping cart or a sales page for an ebook.

This is very handy if you are promoting a product on your auto blog as an affiliate, where the product vendor has one or more sales videos posted on YouTube. It is a simple way to embed an affiliate link right inside the video on your own site.

Here’s a link to step by step instructions for how to create these links – How to make links in YouTube videos.
