How To Get A New Website Indexed Super Quickly

When you create a new website, the first aim is to get search engines to find the site and index it. Indexing means that the pages in the website have been crawled by the search engine and have been added to their database (index) of pages.

Just because your website has been indexed doesn’t necessarily mean that the site will show up in search results – that is a whole separate topic. However, indexing is the first goal because if your site isn’t indexed it doesn’t exist as far as the search engines are concerned.

How do you know if your website has been indexed?

To check for indexing in Google, go to Google.com and type the following into the search box:

“site:yourdomainname.com” (without the quotes)

If this search comes back “No results” then your site hasn’t been indexed yet.

If you are adding posts on a  regular basis to a WordPress blog then the pinging function of WordPress normally ensures indexing happens relatively quickly. However sometimes it takes a while for a new website to be found by the search engines.

In my Advanced Autoblogging Blueprint I mention a quick indexing website that you can use to kick start the indexing of your site. This site submits the  URL of your website to an number of “who is”, “about us” and “website statistic” services.

Just recently I have found another site does does exactly the same thing, but to a much larger number of services (for free). Go to the IMT Website Submitter.

The script at IMT Website Submitter creates pages about your website, resulting in about 2500+ different pages with backlinks pointing back to your site. Most of these pages are created on well established websites regularly crawled by Google and other search engines. This means the pages and backlinks on those websites will be found and your website will get backlinks and will be indexed more quickly and visited more frequently by the search engines.

Now I can’t verify that the IMT Website Submitter does actually create more than 2,500 pages, but let’s say it only creates 1,000 or even only 500 – that’s alot of backlinks for a new site for only a minute of effort!
